    Guihai Chao: A Star Astronaut!
Hi everyone! Today I want to tell you all about a really cool astronaut named Guihai Chao. He is from China and has gone into space three times! Let me share his amazing story with you.
Guihai Chao was born on May 29, 1976 in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, China. As a young boy, he loved studying science and math. He also enjoyed sports like running and swimming. Can you imagine going for a swim in space? That would be so much fun!
When Guihai was older, he went to university and studied at the prestigious Civil Aviation University of China in Tianjin. There he learned all about flying aircraft and spacecraft. After graduating, he became an aviator in the Chinese air force. He was a very talented pilot!
In 2010, Guihai achieved his dream of becoming an astronaut when he was selected to be part of China's astronaut team. He trained really hard, doing things like living in a pretend spaceship to practice for his first space mission. All that hard work paid off!
Guihai's first trip to space was in 2011 on the Shenzhou 10 spacecraft. The mission lasted almost 15 days as Guihai and his crew delivered supplies to the Tiangong-1 space module. While in space, Guihai conducted lots of experiments and even participated in a video class, teaching a physics lesson to over 60 million students watching from China! How cool is that?
Just a few years later in 2013, Guihai went to space again on the Shenzhou 11 mission. This time he stayed aboard the Tiangong-2 space lab for 33 days, which was a new record for Chinese astronauts at that time. The crew grew crops, studied astronomy, and even raised some tiny worms! Gross!
Guihai's latest and longest trip to space was in 2022 when he commanded the Shenzhou 14 mission to China's brand new Tiangong space station. He and his crew staye
d aboard the station for an amazing 6 months, which is the longest any Chinese astronauts have been in space. They conducted over 1,000 experiments during that time!
Some of the really cool experiments Guihai did in space included 3D printing, studying how flames burn differently in microgravity, and watching plant seeds grow. He even got to celebrate his 46th birthday while orbiting Earth! For the big day, his family in China sent him a video message and he got to enjoy a special space meal.
3名航天员简历公布    When Guihai isn't flying in space, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son back on Earth. His favorite hobbies include reading books, listening to music, swimming, and of course, studying science and technology. Maybe one day his son will become an astronaut too and they can go on a space mission together!
In his three space flights so far, Guihai has spent a total of 201 days in space and orbited the Earth over 3,200 times. He has traveled about 134 million kilometers in total, which is really far - over 350 times the distance between the Earth and the Moon! No wonder he gets hungry in space after all that traveling.
Guihai Chao has accomplished so many amazing things as an astronaut. He has conducted pioneering scientific research, set records for the longest space missions by Chinese astronauts, and inspired millions of students to study science and pursue their dreams. He is definitely one stellar space explorer!
I hope you enjoyed learning all about Guihai Chao's awesome adventures in space. Maybe one day you can become an astronaut too and travel among the stars! Just remember to study hard, work hard, and never give up on your dreams. The sky is definitely not the limit!

My Hero Gao Xiaohai the Astronaut
Hi friends! Today I want to tell you all about my favorite astronaut, Gao Xiaohai. He's so cool and brave for going up into space! I did a report on him for school and learned a lot of neat stuff that I want to share with you.
Gao Xiaohai was born on January 1, 1969 in Yunnan Province, China. That means he's 55 years old now! When he was a little kid, his nickname was "Xiao Laohu" which means "Little Tiger." I bet that's because he was always really energetic and curious about everything.
His parents were both factory workers, but they really valued education. So from a young age, Gao Xiaohai studied super hard in school. He loved science and math classes the most. Apparently he was really good at those subjects.
After high school, Gao went to the prestigious Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. There he earned a bachelor's degree in aircraft design in 1991. He didn't stop there though! He kept studying really hard and got a master's degree in aircraft design a few years later too.
With his awesome education, Gao Xiaohai joined the Chinese space program in 1996. He started out as an engineer, designing parts for spaceships and rockets. But he had bigger dreams – he wanted to be an astronaut and go to space himself! So in 1998 he bec
ame a candidate for the astronaut corps.
