Least: little的最高级  at least 至少最少  at most…… join的四种用法最多
She must be fifteen years old. 她很可能十五岁 She must be at most fifteen years old. 她最多十五岁 She must be at least fifteen years old. 她至少十五岁
She must be a model. 她一定是个模特。
3) must  have to 的区别 两者都表示必须
a.强调重点不同must 侧重于说话者的主观看法,认为有必要或有义务去做某事;
have to 则重于客观需要,含有不得不被迫之意:We must go at once. 
必须马上就走。If I buy that car, I have to borrow some money. 如果我…, 我得借些钱。    b. 时态形式不同
must 只有现在时一种形式(在宾语从句中可以表示过去),而 have to 则有多种时态形式:She said (that) she must go with me. 她说她一定要同我一起去。
They have had to buy a car. 他们不得不买了辆小汽车。
c. 否定式的意义不同    must 的否定式 mustn’t 意为一定不要不允许
 have to 的否定式 don’t have to 意为不必”(=needn’t)。比较:
You mustn’t tell him about it.你一定不要告诉他这件事。(可能是秘密)
You don’t have to tell him about it.你不需要告诉他这件事。(他可能知道了)
4)  in spite of=despit:尽管 介词后面必须 加名词,代词或动名词
In spite of this=Despite this, I still like school. 尽管如此,我仍然喜欢上学。
Althoughthough 
a. 都可作连词,两者大致同义,可换用,althoughthough更为正式。
Although (=Though) it was cold, he didn’t light the fire. 虽然天很冷,他也没生火。
b. although一般不用作副词,而though可用作副词,且一般只放在句末,不放在句首,意为可是不过。如:  You said so though. 不过你是这样说的。
c. as though (好像、仿佛)even though(即使、纵然)等短语中不能用although。如:He talks as though he knew anything. 他夸夸其谈好像无所不知。
d. although though之后都不能和but连用,但可用yet, still, nevertheless  Though he seems happy, yet he is worried. 虽然他看来很幸福,但他实际上很烦恼。
5) take part in 参加   有关参加的词jointake part inattend join in + sth
join: 参加了某一种团体或组织  join sb./sth.
join the army参军  join the party入党 join us: (口语)加入我们(这个体)中来
take part in=join in : 参加某一种活动 take part in the race : 参加比赛  take part in a play.        take part in the party
attend : 出席  attend the meeting : 参加会议出席会议 attend the party : 出席宴会      attend class : 上课 Thank you for your attending.谢谢大家的出席(到来)
