    My Awesome Summer Vacation!
    Hey there! I'm so excited to tell you all about my totally awesome summer vacation! It was the best few months ever. I had so much fun and did a bunch of really cool stuff. Let me start from
    As soon as school let out in June, my family and I went on an epic road trip! We packed up our mini-van with all our luggage, tons of snacks, and my video games and tablet to keep me entertained. Our first stop was in Los Angeles to visit my cousin Sarah. We stayed at her house for a few days and I got to play with her new puppy - he was so cute and fluffy! We also went to the beach in Santa Monica and I built the most incredible sandcastle. It was taller than me!
    After LA, we drove up the Pacific Coast to San Francisco. That's where we saw the one and only Golden Gate Bridge! It was so massive and such a pretty orange color. We walked across part of it and the views were breathtaking. In San Francisco, we visited this crazy crooked street called Lombard Street. The road zigged and zagged so much, it was hilarious! I've never seen anything like it.

    Our next stop was Portland, Oregon to go camping and hiking in the forest. We pitched our tent in the woods and cooked hot dogs and s'mores over the campfire. One morning, we went on an amazing hike and I saw a family of deer up close! They were so graceful and beautiful. I tried to sneak up and pet one but they bounded away. Darn! In the same forest, there were also the tallest trees I've ever seen in my life - they seemed to stretch right up to the clouds!
    After camping, we drove all the way up to Seattle to visit the iconic Space Needle. We went up to the observation deck and I could see the entire city below me! The view was stunning. We also stopped at the Museum of Pop Culture, which was filled with awesome e
xhibitions about music, movies, video games and more. As a huge gamer, I totally geeked out over all the amazing artifacts and memorabilia from my favorite games. So. Cool.
    Our last stop before heading home was Vancouver, Canada. We explored the city's incredible aquarium, where I got to see dolphins, sharks, sea turtles and other awesome marine animals up close. I even got to pet a stingray in the touch tank! We also visited Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and I bravely crossed the swinging bridge high up in the trees. It was a little scary but mostly just fun and exhilarating.
    Finally, after being on the road for nearly a month, we made it back home to Phoenix. I was exhausted from all the traveling and activities, but so happy! That trip was easily the highlight of my summer - I made so many wonderful memories with my family that I'll never forget. I'm already counting down the days until next summer when we can go on another epic adventure!
    But that wasn't even everything I did I also went to soccer camp for two weeks where I leveled up my skills big time. And my best friend Jeremy came over all the ti
me so we could play video games, have sleepovers, and just goof around being kids. We played so many crazy pranks on his brother, it was hilarious!
    Oh, and I can't forget about the huge waterpark nearby that we went to practically every weekend. I went on the craziest waterslides over and over again until my eyes stung from the chlorine. But it was an absolute blast shooting down those twisted chutes at top speed. I also did a ton of cannonballs and played tons of pool games with my friends. We had some pretty epic chicken fights!
    Basically, my summer was just pure fun from start to finish. No school, no homework, no responsibilities - just living it up and enjoying being a kid. I'm actually kind of sad it's over already! But at least I have all my awesome memories (and about a million photos and videos) to look back on. This was definitely one summer vacation I'll never forget.

    My Awesome Summer Vacation!
    Hi everyone! Did you have an awesome summer vacation like me? I had sooo much fun this summer. It was the best summer ever! Let me tell you all about it.
    It all started when school let out in June. Finally, no more homework or waking up early! The first couple weeks I just got to relax at home. I played lots of video games, watched movies, and hung out with my friends in the neighborhood. We had lemonade stands, played basketball in the park, and went swimming at the community pool. It was great!
    Then in July, my family went on an amazing trip to California! We flew on a huge airplane
out to Los Angeles. I had never been on a plane before, so I was a little nervous. But it was actually really cool to be way up in the sky looking down at all the tiny houses and cars below. The flight attendants brought snacks and drinks too, which was neat.
