上海愚园路英文介绍editorial英文
Yuyuan Road, also known as West Shanghai Road, is a road in the western part of Shanghai. It is not a very wide road, but it is also not short, stretching from the eastern end of Jing'an Temple to the western end near Zhongshan Park. Yuyuan Road, with a length of 2775 meters, is located in the west of the urban area, across two districts: Jing'an and Changning. Its starting point is at Changde Road in the east and ends at Changning Road in the west. The road width varies from 15.0 to 18.1 meters, and the carriageway width is 9.9 to 11.0 meters. In the third year of the Xuantong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1911), the Municipal Council built the road by filling in a canal and named it after the famous garden "Yuyuan". The road is lined with apartment buildings, new style residential buildings, and shops. There are also landmarks such as the Universal Building and the Paramount Cinema. The address of No. 1376, Yinchangli, is the former site of the "Bolshevik" editorial office.
