Paul the oracle octopus was replaced by Paul II Wednesday – although his owners are still unsure whether the new cephalopod is also blessed with the gift of prophecy, Reuters reported. The French-born substitute is moving into the tank previously home to the mystical mollusk who predicted the outcome of Germany's World Cup soccer campaign. "The old Paul was supposed to teach him," a spokeswoman for the Sea Life Center in Oberhausen said. "But unfortunately he died before he could do that." Wayne Rooney performed a shock U-turn Friday by agreeing to a new 5-year contract with Manchester United just days after appearing to be on his way out of Old Trafford, BBC reported. Wushu, or Chinese martial arts, is an exhibition and a full-contact sport derived from traditional Chinese martial arts. In the Asian Games, martial arts are contested in 2 styles – exhibition and sanshou, or free sparring. In the exhibition, players display a whole set of martial arts skills within required amount of time and the performance is scored. In free sparring, players compete in various classes of weights and the performance and participants are scored on their technique, including striking and footwork. Wushu made its Asian Games debut in 11th Asian Games in Beijing in 1990.
