浅谈英语中的彩词
    Red，orange，yellow，green，blue，indigo we live in a World Full of colors.The world would be a dull place without them，but do you know what represent and how they affect people?   1.Cool colors
  （1）Blue（蓝）
  蓝一般用来表示幽静、深邃和开朗，如：“blue sky ”，“blue sea ”，但在下面的词组中，“blue”却有忧郁和沮丧的意思：“blue junk”（沮丧）；“blue monday”（忧伤的星期一）；“to be in the blue”（垂头丧气）。

  （3）Purple（紫）
  还有一些彩词也很活跃。Purple，意为紫的，表示显赫的地位，高贵的出身。如：She
married into the purple.她嫁到显贵人家。He was born to the purple.他出身显贵。这一点与“blue”的一个用法相近，如：He is a blue blood.他有贵族的血统。
  2.Warm colors
  （1represent的用法）Yellow（黄）
  黄与汉语中所表示的某些概念不一样，与情也没有关系。

  （2）Red（红）
  红一般用来表示喜庆、欢乐和尊贵的意思，英语中有几个表示红的词，应用最多的是“red”，另外有“scarlet”（鲜红）和“crimson”（深红），Red represents power and strength，if a man has a strong personality and likes to be a leader，his color should be red.

  3.Intermediate colors
  （1）White（白的，白的或纯洁的）
  White makes you feel calm and peaceful.If you are feeling stressed，you should wear white.For example，if a student worries a lot and often gets stressed，he or she should use white more.It can help people calm down;white is also the color of purity，many women like to be in white on their wedding day.
  （2）Grey（灰）
  灰往往有消亡，暗淡之意，如“a grey day”（阴天），“grey prospects”（暗淡的前景），“grey marker”（黑市）。
