This evaluation board/kit is intended for use for ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT, DEMON-STRATION, OR EVALUATION PURPOSES ONLY and is not considered by TI to be a finished end-product fit for general consumer use. Persons handling the product(s) must have electronics training a
nd observe good engineering practice standards. As such, the goods being provided are not intended to be complete in terms of required design-, marketing-, and/or manufacturing-related protective considerations, including product safety and environmental measures typically found in end products that incorporate such semiconductor components or circuit boards. About This Guide
The DVEVM (Digital Video Evaluation Module) kit is an evaluation
platform that showcases the DM646x architecture and lets users
evaluate the power and performance of the DM646x as a multimedia
engine.
This guide gives you overview information about the board and the
software provided with the board. It is intended to be used as an
introductory document for the DVEVM. Other documents provide more
in-depth information. See the DVEVM release notes for a complete list of
documents that have been included with the product.

shown in a mono-spaced font. Examples use bold for emphasis,
and interactive displays use bold to distinguish commands that you
enter from items that the system displays (such as prompts,
command output, error messages, etc.).
❏Square brackets ( [ and ] ) identify an optional parameter. If you use
