Today, the teacher took us to know a hero, Academician Peng Shilu, the chief designer of the first nuclear submarine, and the son of Peng Pai, a revolutionary hero.
Grandpa Peng Shilu has been hiding his name for decades in order to engage in the nuclear submarine business. The state has been hiding his identity, so many people do not know him.
Peng Shilu's mother was captured by the Kuomintang when he was three years old, and soon died bravely. Peng Shilu's father died bravely when he was four years old. Since then, Peng Shilu has become an orphan.
On a dark and windy night for a month, Grandma took Peng Shilu to live in a common people's house. She had lived in more than 20 families before and after. But sometimes, he can't even eat steamed buns, so he goes to dig cabbage roots. When they were collecting data, the first data were children's model toys and a blurry picture bought in American stores, but they still dared to try. Once, they collected an English material, but they did not learn English, let alone understand it. So they got up early to memorize English words and worked very hard.
Their environment is not good. There are mosquitoes and flies, which make their bodies pus. However, in such a bad environment, they are still working hard day and night.
Finally, after 13 years of struggle, China's first nuclear submarine, the Long March, successfully dived into the sea. It is their credit to think that our motherland was once poor and looked down upon by the Soviet Union, and also to think that they had been dedicated to our country for so many years!
In 1970, China's first nuclear submarine was born and named "Long March One". In 1974, the nuclear submarine officially joined our navy.
This year, Peng Shilu appeared in the hospital. He was in a wheelchair, with a nasal feeding tube stuffed in his nose and a Weiyou bear in his hand. Therefore, nurses affectionately called him "Grandpa Weini".

  他们的环境不好，又有蚊子又有苍蝇，叮得身上流脓，但是，如此恶劣的环境，他们依旧日日夜夜艰苦奋斗着。
  终于，他们奋斗了13年，中国第一个核潜艇“长征”号成功潜入大海。想到祖国原来一穷二白，被苏联瞧不起，又想到彭士禄他们这么多年为国奉献，可都是他们的功劳哇！
　1970年，我国第一艘核潜艇诞生了，并取名为“长征一号”。1974年，核潜艇正式加入了我国海军。
  今年，彭士禄出现在医院，他坐着轮椅，鼻子里塞着鼻饲管，手里抱着一个维你小熊，因此被护士们亲切地称之为“维尼爷爷”。
