英语语法同义词辨析详解mend, repair
一、mend 及物动词。意思是“缝补、修理、改善、弥补”。多指修补衣服、鞋袜等，有时可以和repair换用。例如：
I'll mend that shirt. 我要补一下那件衬衫。
He asked his mother to mend the hole in the pocket of his jeans. 他请他母亲补一下他牛仔裤口袋上的洞。
The man came to mend the wireless set. 那人来修理无线电装置。
You won't mend matters by being so impolite.你如此不礼貌是改善不了现状的。
二、repair 及物动词。意思是“修理、修补、纠正、弥补、补偿”。多指修理机械、车辆、建筑物、道路等。也可以用于修补衣服、鞋帽。例如：

method同义词
一、means 名词。意思是“手段、办法”。一般多用于短语之中。by means of“通过......，依靠......，用......”。例如：
The water may be carried by means of a pipe. 可以通过管子输水。
Thoughts are expressed by means of words. 用语言来表达思想。
We can separate sand from water by means of filtration. 通过过滤我们可以把沙和水分离。
二、method 名词。意思是“方法“。多指逻辑的或系统的方法。例如：
We should improve our method of teaching. 我们应该改进教学方法。
Your plan lacks method. 你的计划缺乏方法。
I'd like to see more scientific methods used.我倒是希望更多科学的方法得到应用。
三、way 名词。意思是“方法、办法“。后面常跟不定式、of + Ving、从句等。例如：

二、much “许多”。只能与不可数名词连用。其反义词是little，主要用于疑问句和否定句中。例如：
