如何用英语优雅地插话？

01Cut in 插嘴；打断
后面如果跟人的话，要加上介词on
例：
Immediately, Daniel cut in on Joanne's attempts at reassurance.
马上，丹尼尔打断了乔安妮要说的安慰的话。
She kept cutting in our conversation.
我们谈话时她老是插嘴。
02Interrupt 打断；插嘴
It is bad manners to interrupt.
打断别人的话是不礼貌的。
03Chip in
The old man would chip in while we were speaking.
我们在谈话时，那老头儿总要插嘴。
这个短语还有一个意思：凑钱 [非正式]
例：
They chip in for the petrol.
他们凑钱买煤气。
04chime in [tʃaɪm in]
插嘴；打断谈话
英文解释为：To chime in means to join or interrupt a conversation.
He kept chiming in with his own opinions.
他不断插话发表自己的意见。
chime /tʃaɪm/ 作动词有“鸣响”的意思
例：
He heard the front doorbell chime.
他听见前门的门铃响了。
05break in 打断 （谈话、活动）
这个最为常见。
例：
conversation意思
She broke in on our conversation.
她突然插话，打断了我们的谈话。
那如何礼貌的插入自己想说的话呢？
我为大家搜了一些例子：
1. 'I am sorry to interrupt you, but…'
“我很抱歉打断你，但……”
2. 'I hate to cut you off, '
“我并不想打断你，但……”
3. 'Excuse me, but I just thought of something to add.'
“抱歉，我突然想到一些东西想要补充一下。”
4. 'I know what you mean, but…'
“我懂你的意思，但……”
根据具体场合选择合适的句子，这比开门见山打断别人谈话好得多呢~
